• The official Okayama Youtube Channel released Dameyo Manbiki Nante, an anti-theft PSA in 2015
  • It became an internet meme for its less than stellar animation quality and not very original character designs
• The folktale hero Momotaro is from Okayama
  • In the story, Momotaro feeds wild animals kibidango, a local food
    • Kibidango are like mochi, chewy and mildly sweet
  • Momotaro travels to the neighboring Kagawa to defeat the monsters living there

• The Okayama City Tram is the jankiest form of transportation I've ridden in Japan (so far)
  • Yet still better than Boston's Green Line
