Takamatsu

Takamatsu is the capital and largest city of Kagawa.

• Takamatsu Station has a giant smiley face painted on it, which automatically makes it cooler than all train stations that do not have faces
• Symbol Tower is the tallest building in Shikoku (though only at 30 stories and 151 meters)
• Takamatsu is the setting of Udon no Kuni no Kin'iro Kemari.

Megijima

In the Legend of Momotaro, Momotaro travels from Okayama to Onigashima, which is an island off of the coast of Kagawa. People claim the island is Megijima (off the coast of Takamatsu), and have set up a tourist attraction there.
